Greetings everyone! We are SUMAC, a team composed of 15 talented young people who need your support to complete our latest project, a short film that will mark the end of our career.

Daniel, Fabrizio, Shirley, Xiomara, Teresa, Percy, Miguel, Jennifer, Gianella, Dayana, Tamara, Lucy, Fabiana, Diego, and Samuel. These are our names and together we make up SUMAC.

This started a while ago

Right now our story places us in week 6 of our academic cycle. Yes, we are currently in week 6, giving us 11 more weeks to finish our final short film. Although it may seem like we have made significant progress, we still have a long way to go. At the time of writing this article, we are exploring a possible filming location for our short film. However, we are facing numerous challenges... what do you mean the location is outside Lima?

The science of filming locations for shorts

In Lima, and in Peru in general, it is difficult to find places that allow us to paint the walls of a rented house for filming without incurring an exorbitant cost. Even if we find a place without a prohibitive cost, our budget is limited.

The stress is starting to be felt in our team during this sixth week. Despite having an exceptional script in the hands of our director, budget limitations deeply affect us.

We only have to keep moving forward

But, not everything is obstacles. Soon we will share the results of our visit to the possible filming location. Everything is moving quickly and we hope to reach the goal of our fundraising campaign in order to successfully conclude our short film.
